The College of Information Technology offers the following postgraduate programs: PhD in Computing and Information Sciences, MSc programs in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering and Machine Learning and Computational Intelligence.
The postgraduate programs target IT professionals and provide advanced topics in the field of IT.
The College of Information Technology started its Master program in Information Technology in 2011 with an aim to “play a major role in the development of industrial and academic resources related to Information Technology, with the vision to make the University of Bahrain a part of the process aimed to transform Bahrain’s economy into a knowledge-based economy by promoting efficient, sustainable and effective IT initiatives in accordance with Bahrain vision 2030.”
To be in lined with the changing needs of the labor market, the College of Information Technology has offered in 2017 its Master program in Cyber Security, and Software Engineering and in 2019 its PhD in Computing and Information Sciences.
