Prof. Alauddin Al-Omary is a Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Bahrain. Prof. Al-Omary completed his PhD degree in system and information engineering from the University of University of Toyohashi, in Japan. In 1994, Prof. Al-Omary pursued an M.Sc. degree in communication engineering from the University of Technology in the Iraq. In 1986, he completed his B.Sc. Degree in Electronic and Communicator from University of Mosul in Iraq in 1980. His research interests include Hardware/Software co-design Intelligent System, IoT/CPS systems, ASIC and embedded system design using VHDL and FPGA. He has been actively involved in many research projects and published two books and more than 80 papers. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Japanese Information Processing Society and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He was a member of the UNESCO Project to establish a computer network between the GCC’s Inheritance and folklore centers started in April 2001 until April 2002. Prof. Al-Omary is the founder of the International Journal of Computing and Network technology (IJCNT).
