Dr. Esra Wali is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Systems, and the Chairperson of the Department. She manages the Business Incubator Center at the university since 2019. Dr. Esra also serves as a Board Member in ISACA Bahrain Chapter. Her research interests include the adoption and impact of information technology and disruptive technologies. Dr. Esra has presented and published numerous papers at international conferences and journals, for which she also serves as reviewer. She has also been a jury member for numerous competitions and awards and an external examiner for local universities and a mentor to many national and international Startups. Dr. Esra holds a PhD from the University of London, an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Surrey, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of York St. Jones, UK.
