Dr. Fatema Abdulqader Al-Balooshi

Dr. Albalooshi is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Engineering Department in the University of Bahrain. She earned her Ph.D. degree from the University of Dayton (USA) and actively contributed as a member of the Computer Vision and Wide Area Surveillance Laboratory (UD Vision Lab) at the University of Dayton. Additionally, Dr. Albalooshi completed her Master of Science degree in Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering at the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom).

Her expertise and contributions in the field of AI have been recognized by MIT Technology Review Arabia, where she is regarded as one of the leading Arab experts in the field.

Dr. Albalooshi specializes in computer vision research, with a primary focus on image processing and object segmentation. She has authored several publications in related areas. Furthermore, her research interests extend to cybersecurity and authentication, object recognition and tracking, image enhancement, neural networks, medical imagery segmentation, e-noses, and 3D reconstruction. Her accomplishments also include authoring a book titled "Electronic Nose Technologies and Advances in Machine Olfaction," which delves into the subject of electronic noses. Overall, Dr. Albalooshi's extensive research experience and diverse interests contribute significantly to the field of computer vision and related areas.
