PhD in Information Systems from University of Salford, Manchester U.K.
Fatema received her PhD Degree (2015) in Information Systems from University of Salford, Manchester U.K. She served six years as research Fellow in Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy studies (Derasat). Also, she worked as a system analyst and developer in the IT department at Bahrain Center for studies and Research, 2005-2009. Her research interests are in information systems, digitalization, cryptocurrency, Telemedicine and women in the IT careers. Her research results and articles have been published in journals and several international conferences, like G20 insights Policy Briefs (2020 G20 Riyadh), and institutions like Middle East Institute (MEI)- Washington. W, C, and UNDP Bahrain.
