Dr. Ghassan Alkoureiti is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems at the University of Bahrain. He primarily teaches advanced bachelor’s and master’s IS courses, contributes to academic quality and curriculum development, and has coordinated the department’s internship program for several years. He supervised numerous senior projects and headed the department’s graduation projects committee.
His research interests focus on a critical approach to enterprise systems, IT enterprise governance & audit, blockchain and decentralized technologies, socio-material IS practices and game development. He is also certified in CEH, PCAP, and COBIT5.
Dr. Ghassan received his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Bahrain in 2009, his Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University, USA, in 2013, and his PhD in Management (Organization, Work, and Technology) from the University of Lancaster, UK in 2018.
