FACULTY BIO

Ph.D., Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K Luisella Balbis received her MSc Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Genoa, Italy in 2002. She completed her PhD in Control Engineering at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, in 2007. She has also worked as Senior Engineer with Stirling Dynamics in Bristol, UK, providing technical engineering services and control system technology into the aerospace, marine, energy and training & simulation market sectors. Her teaching and research interests include control systems, model predictive control and optimization techniques.
