Ph.D. in Information Systems, Department of Information Systems, University of Melbourne, Australia Currently, Dr. Mazen serves as the President of ISACA Bahrain Chapter. Dr. Mazen Mohamed Ahmed Abdulla Ali is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Systems, College of Information Technology, the University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain. He completed his MSc in 2006 and PhD in 2010 in Information Systems from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Prior to that, he obtained his BSc in Business Information Systems from the Department of Information Systems, University of Bahrain. Dr. Ali serves as a board member in Bahrain Information Technology Society (BITS) and ISACA Bahrain Chapter, a non-profit association with over 100,000 members worldwide and more than 300 members in Bahrain dedicated to the audit, control, and security of Information Systems. In 2010, Dr. Ali received the best paper award at ACIS held in Brisbane, Australia for his scientific research. He has many refereed publications in leading international conference proceedings including HICSS, ACIS, European and Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (EMCIS) and ICTM. His work has been also published in a variety of international journals including JIT and IJEC.
