Dr.Wael Elmedany is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Bahrain. Dr. Elmedany completed his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdon in 1999. Dr. Elmedany pursued an M.Sc. degree in Computer Communications from Menoufia University in Egypt, in 1991. In 1987, he completed his B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering at Menoufia University, in Egypt. He is the founding and managing editor of the International Journal of Computing and Digital Systems (IJCDS). He is the founder and Chair of MobiApps, DPNoC, and WoTBD workshops series. El-Medany is a senior IEEE member, member of editorial boards and TPC member of many international journals and conferences, and acts as chairperson in many conferences. His research interests includes Cybersecurity, IoT, embedded systems, and reconfigurable computing
