Dr. Alia AlKameli

Dr. Alia AlKameli is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bahrain, where she contributes to teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of Computer Science. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain in 2025, with research focusing on deep learning applications in plant disease discovery. She received her Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Applications with distinction from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, in 2016. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (2012) and a B.Sc. in Computer Science (2004) from the University of Bahrain. With over a decade of experience in higher education and research, her academic interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. She is committed to advancing computational research, fostering innovation, and inspiring students through teaching and collaborative research. Selected Publications
